Update 2: YouTuber Nostalgia Nerd has posted a photo on his Facebook Page of the Commodore 64 Ultimate Start Light Edition. Presumably Commodore have shipped out units to “influencers” early perhaps for review purposes or similar.
Update: In a separate comment on X, Extreme Streamers has confirmed that the Assembly64 tool which can be used to directly download software, some of which may be copyrighted does not come integrated on the new Commodore 64 machine.
People were wondering about this because it was original packaged with the Ultimate64 Elite II, on which the Commodore 64 Ultimate is based.
Extreme Streamers on X has posted a photo showing what seems to be the first C64 Ultimate to arrive in the hands of a customer. We are amongst the many thousands of people waiting for their Commodore 64 Ultimate to be delivered, hopefully in time for Christmas.
We will take an in-depth when ours lands on the doorstep.
